About Age UK Bristol
Age UK Bristol is a local and independent charity committed to working with and for older people in Bristol. We rely heavily on donations and legacies from members of the public, without which it would be impossible to continue the vital work we do. This support is invaluable and helps us change the lives of older people in Bristol.
Last year our information and advice team saw 1,700 clients with over 3,500 issues and we raised £1.4 million in additional benefits for older people in Bristol! This extra money goes directly into our client’s pockets, meaning that many of them were helped above the poverty line. It eases the anxiety in their life and gives them a sense of relief that someone is there to listen and help.
There are many ways you can support us, either through donating, volunteering, campaigning or by following us on social media. We are an independent Bristol based charity which relies heavily on the goodwill of local people through volunteering and donations to continue our work.
