Programme Manager – REACT (REtirement in ACTion)
- Salary: circa £38,000 per annum
- Hours: 35 hours per week (full time)
- Contract: Fixed term (3 years) based in Bristol but working across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire
Lead the roll out of REACT across the Region
Age UK Bristol is working in partnership with Birmingham University and five North Central London boroughs to roll out REACT, a group-based exercise programme proven to support people to improve and maintain their mobility and ability to live independently.
Following a successful pilot in Easton in Bristol, we have now been funded by the Vivensa Foundation, as lead partner across BNSSG ICB, to extend the model across the region. As Programme Manager, you'll be instrumental in the implementation of the REACT model, working closely with NHS, Local Authorities, Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations, clinicians, social prescribers, and other key partners in each locality.

What you'll be Doing
- Developing collaborative relationships with service providers across the region who want to run REACT sessions
- Setting up training sessions
- Putting in place outcome-focused targets and monitoring progress
- Enabling providers to share best practise and learning by holding regular workshops??
- Identifying challenges and opportunities early, working across sectors to develop creative solutions
- Building and maintaining partnerships
- Capturing the benefits of REACT through qualitative and quantitative data and case studies
- Attending quarterly Project Steering Group meetings with NCL Programme Manager / Birmingham University REACT team
