Who we are
Age UK Bromsgrove Redditch & Wyre Forest is a local, independent charity which supports older people, their families and carers across North Worcestershire. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to promoting wellbeing and independence for the over-50s and we pride ourselves in offering a local person-centred service to thousands of people across the districts of Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest.

Where you can find us
Our main Administrative Office is based in Windsor Street, Bromsgrove, however we have Information & Advice and Activity Centres in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Wyre Forest. We also have a number of Charity Shops across North Worcestershire.
How we are funded
We rely on your support to keep serving the community. We are supported by donations from the public, income from our charity shops, and some charitable grants.
What we do

We give advice
Our trained advisors offer free, impartial and confidential information and advice to older people and their families.

We help at home
We offer help at home. We want to enable more people to maintain their independence in their own home by providing trusted, person-centred help and support

We befriend
Our volunteer befrienders visit or call lonely, older people in the community on a regular basis, providing companionship and assistance with minor tasks (such as reading mail).

We provide activities
We offer a wide range of activity groups and events, such as lunch clubs and exercise classes, giving older people the opportunity to keep fit, socialise, or learn a new skill.

We have a team of dedicated staff and volunteers, who work together proactively across North Worcestershire, to make it a better place for all people to grow old. Our organisation is governed by a Board of Trustees.
