We’re grateful for the continued support of Alchemab Therapeutics Ltd, who regularly organise fundraisers to raise money for Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Their generosity and commitment help us continue providing vital services and support to older people across our community.

Sarah our Head of services ran the TCS London Marathon 2025 on Sunday raising money for Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

Cathy's Drag Bingo Fundraiser
We are grateful to Cathy Gibb-de Swarte who chose to celebrate her 70th birthday by hosting a Drag Bingo, raising vital funds for the Littleport Warden Scheme. Mark Felicity Briggs ‘Felicity Flapps’ compered the evening, entertaining guests and very generously donating his fee to the local service.
£200 was raised for the Littleport Warden Scheme, which helps support and enable older people to live independently and safely at home.

James' Fundraiser
Well done to James who on Sunday 9th March ran the TTP Cambridge Half Marathon, covering 13.1 mile!
It was a scenic run that took him through the city centre and past several of Cambridge's historic colleges before heading out to Trumpington and Grantchester and returning to finish at the Midsummer common.James has been preparing for the race since Christmas through a mixture of swimming, cross training and body pump classes to improve his fitness.
With around 14,000 runners it was a challenging race with James finishing the run in 1 hour 47 minutes and raising £715.

Casino Night at The Crown Inn
The Crown inn, Littleport hosted a Casino Night which was a tremendous success, raising a fantastic £1000 for our charity. Every pound will help support older people in the local Littleport area.

The Great Eastern Run
We were represented by five local runners who braved the streets to take part in the half marathon which takes place in and around Peterborough. Keiran, Jamie, Philip, Caroline and Paul ran superbly and finished with the biggest smiles on their faces...

Knit, Natter and Crochet group fundraiser
The Knit, Natter and Crochet group in Woodston library have done an amazing job at knitting hats for our Big Knit campaign. Sarah Lees, Warden Service Manager dropped by to meet them and take a look at some of the incredible knitted hats. A big thank you to the group, with special thanks to Jennie and Megan. Set up by the Friends of Woodston Library the group sees around 20 attendees. id you know for every hat knitted and sent to innocent smoothies, 30p of the behatted drinks sold is donated to Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough?

Women's Institute Fundraiser
A Huge thank you to our local Women’s Institute who managed to raise £100 to donate to Age UK Cambridgeshire & Peterborough.
Our staff spoke to the members about our services and handed out some leaflets. Everyone was very keen to hear about our organisation. We look forward to giving the WI another visit in the future.

Le Maitre Ltd Pizza Fundraiser
Big thanks to Le Maitre Ltd for hosting a monthly Pizza Friday in support of our charity!
Attendees, donated £2 to indulge in delicious slices for a good cause. We're thrilled to partner with them and applaud their creative idea. Overall they managed to raise £157.00

Golf Club Fundraiser
Beverley Young, our Chief Partnerships Officer had a catch up with the outgoing Ladies Club Captain for 2022/23 at Peterborough Milton Golf Club . They have had an amazing year, organising lots of fun events, and raising an incredible £3110 for us.
We are very grateful to all those who took part so enthusiastically and contributed to such a successful year of fundraising. Every penny will be used to deliver our services in supporting local older people.
