Community Warden Required in Cambridge North West Villages (covering Fen Drayton, Fenstanton & Lolworth)
The Community Warden supports older people to remain living in their own homes by providing them with practical daily support and assistance.
15 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Closing Date: Friday 14th May 2021
Interviews: Tuesday 25th May 2021
The Telephone Befriending Co-ordinator matches older people who are isolated and can subsequently feel lonely, with a telephone contact volunteer. The Co-ordinator manages and recruits telephone volunteers and is the first point of contact for both older person and volunteer after the telephone match has been completed.
16 hours per week - fixed term until 31st March 2022. Home based, with some occasional travel throughout the county.

Wanted in all areas of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Individuals with a caring nature and interested in working in the homes of older people to maintain their homes and live independently and safely.
You will carry out general household tasks such as cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, laundry and ironing.
Can you offer some of your time and skills to volunteer? Becoming a volunteer is often a useful way to gain experience and develop skills which supports finding paid employment.
