Older Persons Scams Awareness & Aftercare Project Manager

Salary: £22,676 (Two Year fixed term contract to March 2022)

We are looking for a motivated individual to lead this exciting new two-year project. Working closely with vulnerable older people who have been the victims of scams or doorstep crime, you will provide them with much needed support and aftercare to help them overcome the impacts of the crime. You will also work closely with partners and the local community to develop resilient networks to spread awareness of such crimes and help prevent more older people becoming victims.

This role will require an Enhanced DBS check.

The post-holder will be employed by Age UK Cheshire East but will be located within Cheshire East Council’s Trading Standards Team in Macclesfield.

This project is funded with the generous support of the National Lottery’s Community Fund and the Garfield Weston Foundation.
