Administrative Manager/PA to CEO

We are seeking a highly efficient and organised part time Administrative Manager to look after our CEO and all our administrative operations.  You will be responsible for our admin team and admin tasks and our premises and equipment.  You will work closely with our health and safety advisors and our human resources advisors, to ensure a high standard of delivery.  The work is very varied and busy.  We are a friendly and dedicated team that are proud of the work we do and the difference we make to older people in Cheshire East.

Salary is £25,165 full time, pro rata for part-time hours.

Dementia Activity Worker

We are looking for a Dementia Activity Worker to join our enthusiastic, caring and dedicated team. You will be supporting people with dementia to maintain their skills for as long as possible, to benefit from activities, company and friendship and to have some fun.

You will receive training in Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy and you will help us to plan and deliver a programme of activities in our day centre in Macclesfield and as outreach sessions across the eastern part of Cheshire East.    

You will work 25 hours a week across 5 weekdays and the pay is £10.00 per hour.  We offer good staff benefits, including workplace pension and option to join a health insurance scheme.

Home Helps

We are seeking Home Helpers to support our shopping and cleaning service.

Hours are variable to suit - we work Monday to Friday 9am to 5.00pm.  Most Home Helps work from between 10 and up to 30 hours a week. There is no evening or weekend work.  You will most likely work in an area close to your home - we need people across the northern part of Cheshire East but particularly in the Knutsford & Congleton areas.

The current rate of pay is £9.06 per hour. Home helps are eligible to join the staff pension scheme as well as the health insurance scheme. Travel time between appointments is paid at the normal hourly rate. Expenses are paid for use of own car.

The role includes a variety of domestic duties within an older person's house, which is primarily focused on cleaning, but can include other tasks such as cleaning internal windows; Changing bed linen; Laundry/Ironing; Checking food expiry dates; Preparing a light lunch; Escorted food shopping; Telephone/Internet food shopping; Assisting with bills/appointment-making; Take to pre-arranged appointments; Prescription collection; Reminiscence activities. The role does not include personal care duties.
