Come and meet Granny Pearl!
Come and meet the magical Granny Pearl in this engaging and creative new web series that young children and older people can enjoy together! A beautiful windswept island with craggy cliffs, beautiful coves and a lighthouse is the setting for this series full of music, stories, puppetry, making things and one very special Granny!
The series was made by performer, Jenny Lockyer in response to not being able to do live performances during lockdown. Jenny has run Music Time sessions for babies and older audiences together at Age UK Croydon. This special web series was funded by St Martin's School in Epsom and Croydon's 'Croydonites Festival of New Theatre'. Filmed entirely on location on an island in Jenny's bedroom the Granny Pearl series was created so that young children and older people could still enjoy music and creativity together despite the lockdown.
Children can join in with craft activities and then email photos of their artwork to Granny Pearl for display in Granny Pearl's Galley Gallery! Email photos of artwork or just drop a line to GrannyPearlMermaid@Outlook.com
