5 Fun and Wacky Ways to Fundraise This Year

Published on 07 February 2023 12:17 PM

If you follow our social media channels you may have already heard about the incredible fundraising efforts made by Tata Steel, kickstarting the New Year with a brave sea dip challenge #FreezinForA_Reason, to support our charity and help raise the vital funds we desperately need. We’re so grateful for everyone who has taken part in this exciting challenge or donated directly to us.

Last year we set up our very first Emergency Appeal after staggering statistics showed the worries older people were experiencing, with many having to face extremely difficult choices. Our aim into 2023 as always, is to help those in need of our support, services, and to continue offering advice and benefits that are available.

That’s why this year we want to inspire more creative ways of fundraising such as what Tata Steel have done to encourage and increase donations.

Our website already lists some brilliant conventional fundraising methods which you can view here, however, if you’re looking for new year challenge or new inspirational ideas in fundraising, continue reading to get involved!
