JOB TITLE: Information & Advice Triage Assistant

Starting Salary:         £24,570 FTE

Hours:                        15 hours per week, 9.30-12.30 Mon-Fri

At Age UK East Sussex, we believe every older person deserves to feel valued, informed and supported. We’re looking for an Information and Advice Triage Assistant to provide a friendly first point of contact for older people, families and carers seeking information, advice and support.

Are you someone who:

• Enjoys helping people and making a positive difference?
• Communicates confidently and listens with empathy?
• Can assess needs and connect people to the right support?
• Works accurately and can maintain confidential records?
• Has good IT and administrative skills?

You’ll help to:

• Respond to enquiries from older people, carers and families.
• Provide information, guidance and signposting to appropriate services.
• Support people to make informed decisions and access help quickly.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute service quality.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and partner organisations.
