£900 raised at Hertford Theatre's 'Gangsta Granny'

We are thrilled to report that a team of Age UK Hertfordshire volunteers and staff have raised more than £900 this past weekend at showings of the David Walliams’ stage adaptation Gangsta Granny

Our team attended shows on Thursday through to Saturday to collect donations from very generous theatregoers.

CEO Deborah Paniagua and the Board of Trustees were delighted by this outstanding achievement, and would like to thank all those who gave their time or contributed with a donation. A big ‘thank you’, too, to Hertford Theatre for their very kind invitation.

Every penny raised by our team will be spent in Hertfordshire, allowing us to continue funding vital services for older people in the local community.

Gangsta Granny is currently touring the UK and will be back in Hertfordshire in May for a production at the Courtyard Theatre, Hereford.
