Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 FTE per annum pro-rata

Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week

Location: Brent Gateway Office (Stonebridge) and Partner Offices

The Brent Gateway Services is a new project to deliver preventative social care services and statutory advocacy to Brent residents. The project is a partnership between Age UK HHB, Harrow Mencap and Capable Communities.

As part of the new Brent Gateway Services project, we are delighted to advertise 3 Carers Support Officer posts (2 full time positions at 35 hours per week and 1 part time position at 28 hours per week)

The successful candidates will work as a team to provide a central point for referral and delivery of the Carers service. With experience of working with and knowledge of the issues faced by carers, you will be able to directly impact the services carers receive.

Core aspects of the role will include:

  • Reviewing the needs of carers
  • Undertaking carers assessments
  • Supporting carers activities
  • Signposting to advice and information services
  • Provide support services which contribute to improving the experiences of carers
