Lets Talk May: Dementia
Published on 29 May 2026 03:02 PM
When is it forgetfulness and when is it dementia?
In May, Let's Talk had a talk about dementia - helping us to identify early symptoms, how to get a diagnosis, the importance of getting an early diagnosis and what you can do to reduce the risk of getting dementia.
Keeping active and engaged can really help in reducing the risk of dementia - as presenter Sophia Stevens, Senior Commissioning Manager, Age Well, Islington Council shared, "What's good for your heart, is good for your brain."
