Are you a caring, organised and motivated person looking for a rewarding role where you can have a real impact? Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland is seeking a Day Club Manager to lead one of our day centres based in Melton Mowbray, supporting older people to live well and independently.

What Will You Do?
As a Day Club Manager, you will:
- Lead the daily running of our day centre, ensuring a caring, safe and welcoming environment.
- Organise a programme of stimulating social, recreational and therapeutic activities tailored to individual needs.
- Support older people with meals, personal care and companionship.
- Recruit, train and support staff and volunteers.
- Work closely with families, carers and other professionals to provide the best possible support.
- Manage administration, records and finances in line with our procedures.

What We’re Looking For
- Educated to GCSE/NVQ Level 3 or with relevant experience in a care setting.
- Strong organisational and people skills.
- Proven experience in supervising, coaching & developing people.
- Ability to develop and evolve the service
- Compassionate and committed to supporting older people.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, health & safety, equality and data protection.
- Ability to plan and run activities that are engaging, inclusive, and suitable for different physical and cognitive abilities.
- Ability to build relationships with people, staff & volunteers.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion, have patience and be tolerant
- Have excellent administrative skills, which include producing clear and accurate records, providing robust data.
Hours: 24 hours per week
Salary: £17,469.99 per annum £13.96 per hour
Base: Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland, Gloucester House, 3 Norman Way, Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, LE13 1JE
