Deputy Manager – Home Support

We are now looking for a dedicated and motivated Deputy Manager to help lead and further develop our growing Home Support service.
About the Role
Working closely with the Head of Care Services, you will help oversee the strategic and operational delivery of our Home Support services. You’ll manage and support a diverse team - including Home Helps, Gardeners, Footcare Assistants, and more - ensuring services are well-coordinated, compliant, and tailored to the needs of older people across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
This is a varied role, combining leadership, rostering, quality assurance, safeguarding, and service development. You'll be proactive, organised, and comfortable making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience managing or supervising care/support teams
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A solid understanding of safeguarding, CQC standards, and relevant care legislation
- Confidence using rostering and database systems
- A flexible, calm, and person-centred approach
A Health and Social Care qualification and experience in the voluntary sector are desirable, but not essential.
