We’re looking for a motivated Fundraiser to work alongside our team in strengthening our impact and securing the funding needed to support our goals & objectives.
The Role:
As our Fundraiser, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering effective fundraising campaigns and strategies. You’ll engage with individual donors, corporate partners, grant-making bodies, and the wider community to build meaningful relationships and secure vital funding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet financial targets
- Identify and cultivate new funding opportunities from individuals, corporations, and trusts
- Manage donor communications and stewardship activities
- Organise and support fundraising events and campaigns
- Prepare compelling grant applications and funding proposals
- Monitor and report on fundraising performance and outcomes
- Develop new fundraising initiatives to include events and sponsorship
- Design and produce promotional material from posters, leaflets, publications, and reports
About You:
We’re looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, persuasive, and results-oriented. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build professional relationships with a tailored approach to different audiences.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Ability to foster new connections with individuals, corporations & trusts
- Ability to confidently present and encourage donations
- Be highly organised, with excellent planning skills
- Have strong analytical skills
- Be creative
- Excellent IT skills including Canva, Mail Chimp, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems and fundraising software
- Full clean driving license with the ability to gain business insurance
