Email your local candidates:
Over 500 people are standing to be the next Member of Parliament in each of London’s 73 Parliamentary Constituencies. MPs have a crucial role to play in making London an Age-friendly City.
Join with Age UK London to call on candidates to pledge their support for an Age-friendly London!
There are 4 easy steps to take part:
Step 1:
Find out who your local candidates are at www.whocanivotefor.co.uk
Step 2:
For most candidates you will be able to find an email contact address.
Step 3:
Email your candidates with the following message:
“Please show your support for an Age-friendly London by tweeting a photo of yourself with the Age-friendly London pledge card - bit.ly/AFL-Pledge"
Step 4:
Please ask candidates to include the hashtag #AgeFriendlyLondon and mention of @ageuklondon in their tweet.
