In 2017, Age UK London released "Living in Fear" a research report into the experiences of older private renters in London. The title of the report was a direct quote from one of the older renters we interviewed. With the number of older private renters in London set to double in the coming years, we must act now to reform the private rented sector for people of all ages.

You can download the report below, as well as our guide for those living in private rented accommodation, and our advice for those working with older private renters.

"Living in Fear" was produced as part of Age UK London's Older Private Sector Tenants Programme, which was funded by the Nationwide Foundation.
