Age UK Merton is seeking a new Treasurer to join its Board of Trustees and help oversee the charity’s financial stability, governance and long-term sustainability. This is a voluntary role for someone with financial qualifications and experience who can provide strategic oversight, analyse budgets and management accounts, advise on financial planning, and support sound Board decision-making.

The Treasurer will chair the Finance Committee, report to the Board, monitor reserves and investment policies, ensure appropriate accounting procedures and financial controls are in place, and present the annual accounts at the AGM. The role would suit someone with strong financial judgement, experience of budgeting and cash-flow forecasting, an understanding of charity finance, and a commitment to supporting older people across Merton.
