Treasurer

Age UK Merton is seeking a new Treasurer to join its Board of Trustees and help oversee the charity’s financial stability and long-term sustainability. This is a voluntary governance role for someone with financial experience who can provide strategic oversight, support sound decision-making and advise the Board on financial matters.

The Treasurer will chair the Finance Committee, report to the Board, help ensure appropriate financial controls are in place, monitor reserves and investment policies, and present the accounts at the Annual General Meeting. The role would suit someone with strong financial judgement, an understanding of governance responsibilities and a commitment to supporting older people in Merton.
