What do activity support volunteers do?
Our activity support volunteers help us provide a variety of activities and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for older people to meet together and enjoy each other's company. If there is an activity you would particularly like to run, then please do let us know your ideas!
What you will get out of it
- It's a great way to meet people.
- You'll be giving something to your community by helping older people enjoy fun activities.
- You get to be part of Age UK North Craven's volunteer team.
- Volunteers tell us they find helping at the clubs and activities really rewarding.
What is expected of me?
The suggested time commitment is 2 to 4 hours on a regular basis.
