Singing Memories

This moving animation was produced by young people at North Tyneside VODA as part of their National Citizen Service in 2018. The subject is the Singing Memories group for Dementia sufferers, which meets at Forest Hall, North Tyneside. The group is supported by both Age UK North Tyneside and North Tyneside Carers Centre.
It demonstrates the poignant story of a lady with dementia, who finds companionship and fun in the regular meetings with friends in the singing group where they are encouraged to join in with songs which help to bring back memories.
