North Tyneside in Bloom 2023

North Tyneside Council is inviting residents, businesses, schools and community groups to showcase the dedication and hard work that goes into maintaining their gardens and outdoor areas with the annual North Tyneside in Bloom competition.

Entrants are invited to send photographs of their entry for shortlisting, ahead of in-person judging. Full details and the application form can be found on the council website.

This year’s categories are:

• Small garden - Front, side or back gardens under 100sq metres.
• Large garden - Front, side or back gardens over 100sq metres.
• Allotment site - For an individual or combined effort from an allotment site.
• Community / group effort - Any community effort, for example a business, school, place of worship, care or residential home with communal grounds or gardens.

The closing date for entries is Sunday 18 June 2023.
