Story 8 : Who deserves a unique, hand-made, special gift ?
Our Men in Sheds members make some truly beautiful things for you to give as gifts at Christmas or any other time. You can even commission your own piece. From pens to birdboxes, bat homes and benches, there’s something for everyone who loves wood at Men in Sheds. All items are handmade by our members who also enjoy friendship, teaching and learning new skills and plenty of tea and biscuits. We have Sheds in Worksop, Blidworth and Daybrook so if you know someone who loves a bit of woodworking, let them know. We’re always looking for new members and volunteers.

Michael started coming to the shed 14 years ago
‘I felt right at home after my 1st visit, they’re like family to me now. The camaraderie of the sheds is second to none, it really was a lifeline for me, If it wasn’t for the shed I don’t know where I’d be now. I like the creative side of it, you really can start as a novice or a diyer with enhanced skills everyone helps and brings those ideas to life.
