Hours: 20 hours in total per week - 4 hours per day across 5 day Monday-Friday
Salary: £14,019.51 per annum
Based: Home based but the majority of time will be spent out and about across the Greater Nottingham area with an initial focus on Rushcliffe
Tenure: Permanent


About the role

As an area co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in communicating with and assessing people who want to live independently, confidently and well in their own homes. You will create support plans for them once you’ve assessed we can meet their needs.  You will support and supervise a small team of locally based Living Well Assistants who provide the day-to-day support to clients.  The Area Co-ordinator is the first face new clients will see and provides an important link between the office-based team and the Living Well Assistants working in the community supporting older people.

About you

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills as well as a good understanding of supporting older and vulnerable people in a person-centred way. An excellent standard of IT skills is required for this role. Previous experience of supervising staff, communicating with customers and their families and working in domiciliary care, home support, social care, health care or community services would be advantageous.
