Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin's dementia support groups support local people with dementia and memory difficulties, their families, carers and friends.

An older man with dementia and his carer

All our dementia support groups provide a chance to get to know others and share experiences in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. They provide members with support and information and an opportunity to take part in interesting activities, coordinated through our team of trained volunteers. The small charge for each session includes tea and light refreshments, as well as the cost of all the activities that are arranged.

If you would like to join us please ring the contact person for the dementia support group you would like to attend; their telephone numbers can be found at the end of each section below.
