Current vacancies and other opportunities

Community Advice Hubs Vacancies

The Community Advice Hubs are a ‘One-Stop Shop’ for information, advice and support for Solihull residents and a gateway into other services that can meet residents’ needs. The two Advice Hubs, in Central Solihull and Chelmsley Wood, are busy and often challenging places to work but being able to help people who need support and are often in crisis makes it worthwhile.

Linking People Together Jobs

Linking People Together has two strands - Befriending and Clubs/Activities.

We currently run four clubs for the benefit of older people, helping to reduce loneliness and social isolation.

  • Volunteer Driver

We particularly need volunteers to drive our clients to their weekly exercise classes or social club. You would be matched with an older person who lives near you, and collect them in your car, returning them home again later. This is a rewarding role as you get to know the older person and see them grow in confidence.
