Age UK Solihull is an independent, local charity and a Brand Partner of the national Age UK. We exist to be here for older people when they need our help and support. We are also the lead partner for the Solihull Community Advice Hubs, providing information, advice and support to all adult residents of Solihull.

Over 70 staff and 300 volunteers support our work.

Home Support Service Coordinator (6 months interim role)

Hours: 28-30 hours per week

Salary: £26,805 FTE

Closing Date: Monday 28 October

We are looking for a dynamic, organised person with excellent people skills to coordinate our Home Support Service for older adults across Solihull. The service provides domestic support, shopping, accompanying to appointments etc (not personal care or CQC registered activity).

Main aspects of the role include:

  • Be the first point of contact for the Home Support Service.
  • Coordinate the day to day activity of the Home Support Workers
  • Provide a broad range of administrative and organisational support to the Home Support Service Team including scheduling.

Older People's Information and Advice Caseworker

Salary: £26,214 per annum
