Run Solihull
Take on a local run for a local charity, by signing up to Run Solihull in aid of Age UK Solihull.
Complete a half marathon, a 5k, or enter the little ones into the Junior Race, around Solihull on Sunday 9 August 2026.

Half Marathon
Distance: 21km
Minimum age: 17
Cost to enter: £20
Minimum sponsorship: £250
Registration deadline: tbc
Route: Starting at Malvern Park, the route takes runners on closed roads and tarmac paths to Knowle, and onto the coutryside of Barston and Eastcote, which includes the steeper inclines and declines of the course. The route returns to Knowle before following Widney Manor Road and Malvern Park back to Solihull town centre.
5k
Distance: 5km
Minimum age: 15
Cost to enter: £10
Minimum sponsorship: £150
Registration deadline: tbc
Route: The 5k follows the start and end of the half marathon route through Malvern Park and along Widney Manor Road, with an earlier turn around point.
Junior Race
Distance: 1.1 km
Minimum age: 5
Cost to enter: £5
Minimum sponsorship: £75
Registration deadline: tbc
Route: A short and sweet race through Malvern Park and along New Road, finishing by St Alphege Church.
