Project Purple provides community based activities in and around Bournemouth for the over 55s.
Who is it for?
Project Purple is aimed at anyone over 55 who wants to meet with others, and possibly try something new in the process.
What are the activities?

Project Purple Activities
Christmas Craft Workshop
We will be running a Christmas craft workshop on 6th December at Moordown Community Centre. Come along and have some festive fun making a Christmas decoration to take home.
Venue: Moordown Community Centre, Coronation Avenue, Moordown, Bournemouth BH9 1TW.
Tutor: Hannah Teuber

Outings and trips
A brisk paced walk for the keen energetic walker. Bring sensible shoes and clothing for all weathers, and enjoy the company of others while taking in the stunning Dorset scenery.
Westbourne Circular Circular walk via Alum Chine, Promenade and Bournemouth Gardens - 3.5 Miles
Linear Walk - Castle Point Library via Throop and River Stour to Cherry Tree Nursery - 4 Miles
Southbourne Crossroads to Tuckton via promenade, Hengistbury Head and River Stour - 3 Miles
Lunch trips to pubs and day trips across the Dorset area. Enjoy good food, in great company. We run multiple trips each month to different pubs, and we provide door-to-door mini bus transport. Our pub lunches are self-supported, so you must be able to order & pay for your own meals & drinks at the bar.
