In line with Government guidance, we are pleased to have reopened our charity shops and community hubs.

The safety of our customers, staff and volunteers is our top priority, so we've taken steps to ensure that everyone can shop, work and donate safely.

Our shops have been deep cleaned and all staff and volunteers have been trained on new systems regarding hygiene and social distancing.

About our shops

Age UK Bradford District has eight shops. They are great places to find bargain clothes, books, DVDs, household goods, and even furniture.

To find out more about each of our shops, opening hours, what they stock and how to donate items, click on the shops below for further details.

Gift Aid

Your gifts to Age UK could be worth 25% more - at no extra cost to you - when you Gift Aid it.

Gift Aid is a scheme that allows charities to claim back the tax paid on donations, which means we get more out of the money you give to us.

Any clothing or household goods you donate to our charity shops under Gift Aid, will give us an extra 25p for every £1 we make selling your items. Imagine what a difference that little bit extra could make.

Signing up is easy. All you have to do is complete our short Gift Aid form as you drop off your items. Our staff and volunteers will be happy to answer any questions.

Volunteering at our shops

Our shops rely on volunteers for sorting stock, creating interesting window displays, and attending to customers. If you are interested in volunteering with us, please visit our volunteering page to see how to get in touch.

  • Furniture

We have now introduced a new system where we will collect small items of furniture for resale at one of our shops.

Either call in to a shop or phone us on 01274 391190 if you have anything that you feel may be of interest.

  • ebay

Thanks to the generosity of the people who support us, we occasionally have items that we put online for auction.

Keep an eye on our ebay page where you could pick up a great deal from the comfort of your own home!

  • Recycling

As a charity we raise funds through sale of goods in our shops. However sometimes we cannot sell donated goods for legal reasons or because items are too damaged to be fit for sale.

  • Donate

Help us raise vital funds by donating your unwanted goods at any of our shops today!

We are always in need of your unwanted goods to enable us to keep doing our vital work for older people.

Unsure if what you have to give will be of use?
