Impact Alliance - Head of Delivery
Location: West of England (Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, and Bath & North East Somerset)
Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum
Contract: Fixed-term (3 years), with potential for extension, hosted and employed by Age UK Bristol acting on behalf of the Impact Alliance (which is a collective of organisations, not a legal entity)

Join the West of England Impact Alliance – a vibrant coalition of over 50 voluntary, statutory, academic, business, and faith communities united by the belief that "Together, we can do more." As our Head of Delivery, you'll be at the heart of a powerful movement reimagining how we address loneliness and build stronger, more connected communities where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

By co-ordinating the work of the Impact Alliance and connecting strategy to action, you'll help build communities where connection is the norm. Your work will directly support our mission to create environments where people feel valued, respected, and truly belong, making a real difference in the lives of countless individuals across the West of England.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading collaborative relationships with workstream teams and partners, facilitating outcome-focused meetings that drive strategic progress
- Identifying challenges and opportunities early, working across sectors to develop creative solutions that unlock meaningful change
- Building and maintaining partnerships, engaging with potential new Alliance members whilst nurturing existing relationships
- Spending meaningful time with communities, listening to local voices and supporting grassroots initiatives that strengthen connections
- Transforming local successes into compelling stories that inspire action and amplify our collective impact

What You'll Bring

- Experience in asset-based community development and translating local strengths into sustainable change

- Strategic communication skills, turning complex information into clear, actionable insights focused on impact
- Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle (or alternative arrangements to meet travel requirements across the region)
