6 Week Canoe Paddle Making Course

An exclusive FAB offer for men over 50. Design, build and keep your own canow paddle.

Date: 22nd, 29th April, 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th May 2026
Time: 10am - 12.30pm
Contribution: £50

There are 6 places available on this 6-week canoe paddle making course. The final session includes the opportunity to go out on the water with your new canoe paddle.

From choosing the wood and creating your design, through to the full manufacture of your paddle. You keep the canoe paddle and can take it out on the water. It’s a practical, hands-on course designed to bring men together while learning a new skill.

This FAB offer is made possible by a legacy donation from Matthew Fuller. Matthew was a volunteer at All Aboard and a passionate supporter of men’s mental health. In keeping with his wishes, this course has been created to encourage connection, skill-building and enjoyable shared activities for men over 50.
