In November 2018 Royal Borough of Greenwich Council visited the Nepalese Gurkha Vetrans Club with a photographer to take portraits of some of our members. Any portraits chosen would be displayed on the construction hoardings at the Woolwich Creative District (WCD) at Woolwich Arsenal as part of the Council’s community arts project.
Min's portrait was chosen alongside other Greenwich residents to be displayed. Min and other members of the Nepalese Gurkha Vetrans Club were invited to the unveiling of the resident portraits project on 19th March 2019. The event was launched by Cllr Miranda Williams, Cabinet Member for Culture, Leisure and the Third Sector.
