Christmas Impact 2021

Some of our services continued over the Chritsmas and New Year period, ensuring older people were not left without support. The below graphics show our activities in 4 of our services over the 10 day festive period from Christmas Eve to after the New Year Bank Holiday.

In summary staff within Hospital Discharge and Admission Avoidance, Community Wardens, Home Support, Sharing Time & Telephone Befriending, Services dealt with:
•  182 phone calls made or received
•  75 home visits
•  7 new referrals taken
•  2 Next of Kin contacts over concerns raised by volunteers
•  2 ambulances called
•  1 emergency provision of food
