Christmas Giving Campaign

As the Christmas approaches, Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough invites individuals, community groups, and local businesses to join our Christmas Giving Campaign. Every Christmas our wonderful staff will pass on Christmas gifts donated by you to individuals who will not receive anything, or very little, at this poignant time of the year when many older people find themselves feeling lonely.
Ways You Can Get Involved
Donate a Gift
You can help make someone’s Christmas special by donating a thoughtful present. From warm scarves and toiletries to books, puzzles, or festive treats, your gift will bring comfort and joy to an older person in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
Host a Festive Event
If your company would like to get more involved, why not organise an activity at one of our day centres? Host a Christmas craft day, a singalong, or a tea party. Your time can bring smiles to those who may otherwise spend the holidays alone.
Make a Donation
If you’d prefer, you can make a financial contribution to support our work. Your donation helps us provide vital services, from home visits to day centre activities that reduce isolation and can prevent loneliness. Every penny helps us make real difference.
Corporate Partnerships
A partnership with us could be beneficial for your business by helping you meet your corporate social responsibility objectives. It's a great way to motivate employees, gain insight into the over-60s market, get some great PR and help Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to support vulnerable people in the local community.
As a company you can join our Christmas Giving Campaign. Share our annual Wish List of gifts to purchase and donate, so that our staff can pass on a Christmas gift to our service users. Some representative employees could come and visit one of our centres with some of the gifts.
You can collect donations from staff and arrange with us to drop off the gifts at our office. We also publish an Amazon Wishlist every year where your employees can purchase and gift and it gets sent straight to us. For access to the Wishlist contact us media@ageukcap.org.uk
