On 9 December, Claire Houghton, Commissioner for Cambridgeshire County Council, and her team paid a special visit to Cherry Trees Day Club, bringing festive cheer to service users and staff.
The group enjoyed a wonderful afternoon singing Christmas carols and creating festive foliage, leaving everyone feeling ready for Christmas
Cherry Trees, in Cambridge, is one of our day services, offering opportunities for older people to socialise, feel secure, and enjoy a happy and stimulating environment. With several centres across the county, Cherry Trees provides a welcoming space where members can take part in activities, make friends, and enjoy weekly fun.
We are always looking for volunteers to help make these sessions even more enjoyable. If you would like to join in the weekly fun at Cherry Trees, find out more here.
