This Christmas season, the generosity of local businesses, schools, and individuals helped bring joy to our service users, ensuring that no one in our community felt forgotten during the festive period.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who donated money, gifts, or volunteered their time. Your kindness made an enormous difference and helped us create a magical Christmas for so many people.
We would like to give special recognition to several key supporters whose contributions had a tremendous impact:
- Alchemab kindly donated 100 gifts, ensuring Service Users who may not have received anything or very little over Christmas, had a gift to make them feel thought of.
- National Gas Transmission contributed 80 gifts, helping us put smiles on more Service User’s faces.
- Saint Faith’s School in Cambridge gifted 50 handwritten Christmas cards and donated gifts, which were received by our Service Users.
- Thomas Deacon Academy encouraged each tutor group to create a gift bag, resulting in 80 beautifully assembled gift bags for our Service Users.
- IKEA staff volunteered their time at our Monday Day Club on15th December, where they hosted a lively musical quiz and a game of bingo that brought smiles and laughter to everyone involved.Service users also each received a festive food hamper full of Ikea goodies.
- Compare the Market generously hosted their wonderful annual Christmas dinner for three of our local Day Centres, creating a festive and memorable celebration for all who attended.
- Morrisons hosted free Christmas lunch for older people in their Wisbech café. Providing a nice day of festivities and good company for all that attended.
- Claire Houghton, Commissioner for Cambridgeshire County Council, and her team paid a special visit to Cherry Trees Day Club, bringing festive cheer to service users and staff.
We are deeply grateful for every act of kindness shown to our Charity, big or small. From wrapped gifts to warm messages, volunteer hours to financial contributions – each gesture helped make the season brighter for those we support.
Thank you to all our community partners, supporters, and individuals who donated over the Christmas period. We look forward to continuing this community kindness into 2026.
