Wisbech Morrisons Hosts Christmas Lunch for Oasis Day Centre

On 11th December, service users from the Oasis Day Centre in Wisbech were welcomed for a heart-warming Christmas lunch hosted by Morrisons. The event formed part of a nationwide Morrisons initiative, which saw hundreds of older people across the country treated to a two-course Christmas meal, complete with gifts and entertainment provided by dedicated store staff. 

The Wisbech celebration was no exception. Guests enjoyed a warm, friendly atmosphere and attentive hospitality throughout the afternoon. 

Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough expressed their gratitude to Wisbech Morrisons Store Manager, Robert Jarrald, and his team for their generosity and seasonal cheer. 

“We are humbled by the kindness shown,” Head of Services, Sarah said. “The team made everyone feel so welcome, and their efforts have made a real difference to the lives of older people this Christmas.” 

The event was an amazing success, leaving attendees with full stomachs, festive spirits, and a strong sense of community.
