We’re grateful for the continued support of Alchemab Therapeutics Ltd, who regularly organise fundraisers to raise money for Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Their generosity and commitment help us continue providing vital services and support to older people across our community.

  • Cogwheel Cambridge Stride Walk

On Sunday 18th May 2025 a team of eight from Alchemab undertook the Cogwheel Cambridge Stride walk in aid of Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

The 28 mile walk was completed in 8 hours and 20 minutes raising £1,875!

Joining the team was the Chief Strategy Officer Olivia Cavlan who was accompanied by her daughter, completing the 13 mile route.
    Alchemab have said:
‘We have been pleased to continue our fundraising this year for Age UK CAP, following our 3 peaks challenge in 2024, we are proud that our team completed the 2025 Cambridge Stride Challenge. Despite the blisters and sore legs, we were really pleased to raise a further £1,875 for Age UK CAP!'

  • Raul's Fundraiser

Raul from Alchemab ran a marathon in aid of Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough raising an amazing £650. He completed the marathon in around 5 hours. This was an incredible achievement despite the hot weather and hilly terrain.

  • Summer Raffle

Alchemab managed to raise £750 from a raffle that they held at their summer event.

  • Cherry Trees Garden Makeover

The biggest of thanks go to volunteers from Alchemab who gave their time today to make the area a beautiful place again for people who attend the centre. Not only did they give their time but an enormous amount of plants, equipment and paint (for the benches and hand rails) were donated. We are hoping that the weather holds out so service users can plant the remaining flowers this week.
Thank you again Alchemab for being so generous in so many ways

  • 3 Peaks Challenge

On 21st September 2024 12 members of the Alchemab team undertook the three peaks challenge, a hike across 20 miles. Raising £3599 for Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough who they have nominated as their charity of the year! They have been outstanding in their support for our charity.

A big well done and a thank you to everyone for their hard work and dedication!
