Following the government extension of the Household Support Fund, we continue working in partnership with Cambridgeshire County Council to administer support for residents aged 65 and over living in Cambridgeshire.

Now taking referrals.

What is the Household Support Fund?

Household Support Fund is a central government scheme that provides funding to local councils to help people who are vulnerable or unable to pay for essentials like energy and food.

You do not have to be getting benefits to get help from your local council.

Eligibility

• 65 and over.
• £24, 876 per single person living alone.
• £34,494 per couple/joint application. If you live with a spouse or partner, you must make a joint application for your household. Your eligibility will depend on your partner’s income and savings, as well as your own.
• Savings of up to £16,000 only - You (and your spouse/partner) have £16,000 or less in money, savings and investments.
• The support is set at ONE claim of £110 per person/couple.
