Age UK Camden is now in its 61st year – and shows no signs of slowing down or being any less agile than it was in its younger days! As part of our ongoing evolution and change, we are pleased to announce that we have a new Chair, Jen Pemberton, who has been a long-standing volunteer with the befriending service of the charity and who has served on our Board of Trustees for last year.

At our 60th anniversary party on 12 May 2026, our supporters, trustees, staff, volunteers, day centre users and community members came together at our Henderson Court Day Centre to celebrate a new era of Age UK Camden. We bid farewell to Mary Burd who has been the Chair for the last 9 years, but had to step down in line with our constitution. We are hugely grateful to Mary - who led the charity though many changes, including steering us through the challenges of Covid when we stepped up to help many older residents of our borough through those dark and worrying times.
