Obituary for Dame Phylidda Law

Age UK Camden is sad to hear about the death of Dame Phyllida Law, who had been the Charity's patron for over 20 years. Phyllida was the guest speaker at Age UK Camden's AGM in 2008 (when the charity was known as Age Concern Camden) and she spoke passionately about the importance of voluntary work and befriending - recalling supporting her daughters Emma and Sophie who had formative experiences befriending older people through their school. We were also grateful that Dame Phyllida often spoke to the media around ageing, dementia and Age UK Camden. We offer our condolences to her family and friends.
