Age UK Cheshire is proud to announce that its Information and Advice Team has achieved both the Advice Quality Standard (AQS) and the Age UK Quality of Advice Standard, marking an important milestone for the service and recognising the team’s commitment to delivering high-quality support to older people across Cheshire.

These nationally recognised quality marks demonstrate that the Information and Advice Service meets rigorous standards in the delivery of advice. Achieving both accreditations confirms that the service provides accurate, reliable and high-quality information to the people who rely on it.

For clients, the standards provide reassurance that they are receiving trusted and dependable advice when they need it most. For partners and stakeholders, the accreditations offer confidence in the professionalism, integrity and strength of the service delivered to residents throughout Cheshire.

The achievement is the result of significant work by the Information and Advice Team over the past 12 months. The team has dedicated considerable time and effort to strengthening internal processes, enhancing quality standards and ensuring the service continues to meet the needs of older people in the community.

This accomplishment reflects the team’s dedication, perseverance and commitment to excellence—values that are central to the mission of Age UK Cheshire.

Everyone at the organisation is incredibly proud of the team and their hard work in securing this well-deserved recognition.
