Andreea Hausmann

Andreea’s professional experience is mainly as a lawyer but over the years she has volunteered within her local community, including two years with the Law Centre. In her professional capacity she has assisted elderly people on a pro bono basis with matters such as drafting wills, contacting pension schemes and mobility schemes.

In the past she worked as a volunteer within the Romanian community, especially dealing with elderly people assisting them to reach out the GP services, banks, benefits, travel assistance and completion of forms. She has also worked with Leonard Cheshire, mainly assisting elderly with disabilities with various tasks.

She also has personal experience in assisting and looking after her grandmother who passed away aged 93 but very much maintaining independence until the end.

Andreea was elected to her first three-year term as a trustee of Age UK Enfield at the 2017 AGM, to serve until the 2020 AGM.
