Our trusted Handyperson service helps older people across Hertfordshire with everyday DIY tasks at home and in the garden.

What We Do

Our fully DBS checked and insured team can help with:
• Curtain poles and window blinds
• Flat pack furniture
• Grab rails
• Wall hangings
• Keysafes

You supply the materials – we do the work.

What we charge

Most jobs: £27.50 per hour
Fixed price jobs:
• Curtain pole or blind (up to 6ft): £41
• Curtain pole or blind (over 6ft): £65
• Grab rail on tiled wall: £38.50 per rail
• Staircase handrail: £111
• Keysafe: £99.45 (includes keysafe)

Some jobs need two people (like large mirrors or double wardrobes). The rate is then £55 per hour.

Payment on the day by card only (debit or credit card).

What We Can't Do

We're not qualified tradespeople, so we can't help with:
• Plumbing
• Electrical work
• Painting and decorating
• General building or carpentry

For these jobs, you'll need to contact a qualified tradesperson.
