The starting point is Preston, where you and your team will row 25 miles along the canal to Lancaster. Enjoy the fantastic scenery and a test of endurance. Most participants complete the course in 6-8 hours.
The Course
This stretch of the canal is lock-free, meaning no interruptions or disembarking for locks. Paddle your way to success with the support of the Age UK Lancashire team, who will be stationed at checkpoints along the route to ensure your safety and cheer you on. Once you and your team complete the Canoe Challenge, you'll receive a hard-earned, complimentary chip butty and a medal.
