Age UK Lancashire believes that it is important to enable older people and their carers to have support to remain independent and to live interesting and fulfilled lives.

We offer a range of services to help older people across Lancashire make more of their lives. Our care services are available to help frailer older people or those who feel lonely or isolated whilst social groups, luncheon clubs, exercise classes, computer lessons, Home Help services and much more assist older people in remaining active, independent and linked in to their local community.

Our services

  • Day Time Support

    Premises based service providing an opportunity for those in later life to socialise, learn or relearn skills and take part in fun activities.  

  • Information and advice

    Information and Advice Service for older people aged 65+ and their carers. 

  • Lancashire Older Veterans

    Support  for older veterans, providing information and advice, practical support at home, access to social events.

  • Integrated Care Programme

    We deliver our Integrated Care programme across East Lancashire,bringing together voluntary, health and social care services to provide personalised support to older people. 

  • Home Help Service

    We offer a reliable, high-quality, competitively priced Home Help Service tailored to meet your needs.  

  • Building Better Opportunities

    Helping tackle the poverty and social exclusion faced by the most disadvantaged people in England

  • Hospital After Care Service

    The Service is available to support any individual who is in need of support for light household chores.

  • Dementia Community Links

    Free one to one support to those living with dementia or a memory concern and their carers, living in the West Lancashire and Chorley area

  • Foot care Service

    We provide nail cutting and general footcare for people aged 55 and over in Chorley and West Lancashire

  • Join our Campaign to tackle loneliness

     No one should have no one.  More than a million older people say they go over a month without speaking to a friend, neighbout or family member

  • Make a Donation

    To continue our work for older people and continue to provide essential services free to access such as Information and Advice we need your support
