Age UK Merton is looking for an Information & Advice Officer to support older people, carers and families who contact the advice service. This role is often the first point of contact for clients, helping to understand their situation, assess urgency and guide them towards the most appropriate advice or support.

The post includes triage, clear communication, accurate record keeping and administrative support for the advice team. You may also provide basic advice appointments once trained and within agreed competence levels. This role would suit someone organised, approachable and able to deal sensitively with people who may be worried, distressed or facing complex issues around benefits, housing, health, care or local services.
