Age UK Norwich is a local independent charity with 40 staff members. We reach and support around 6,000 older people and their families each year across our range of services and activities.

Our staff team works closely with the local community, and much of our work is delivered across Norwich and its suburbs.

Service Delivery Lead

The Service Delivery Lead is responsible for co-ordinating the day-to-day activity for a group of charitable services, ensuring tasks and duties are effectively arranged and monitored for maximum impact for older people. The services may be focused on a specific service, geographical area, partnership, or funding contract. 

The Service Delivery Lead will oversee the operational delivery of services, including allocation of clients to staff and volunteers, staff capacity, and ensuring quality standards and processes are adhered to.  

The role is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer and role holder will work closely with the other Service Delivery Leads, Health Specialist and Advice Specialist.  

You will drive operational improvements, uphold quality standards, and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. You will also line manage staff, contribute to service evaluations, and ensure compliance with organisational policies and external regulations. 

This role combines operational leadership, coaching, and partnership working to ensure that older people across Norwich and Norfolk receive effective, safe, and impactful support.

Trustee - help guide our work

We are looking for trustees to join the Age UK Norwich board to help us shape the charity and make Norwich a great place to grow old. We are evolving to meet the needs of an aging population and ensuring Norwich is an age-friendly city and our trustees are a key part of driving this agenda forward, working with the Chief Executive.
