Mobility Matters is a free Health Coaching service from Age UK Norwich, designed to help people aged 50+ improve their mobility, fitness, and overall wellbeing.
Participants can access up to eight guided exercise sessions, either one-to-one or in a group setting, depending on their preference. The programme is open to anyone over 50, subject to a brief health screening.
Each session is tailored to support strength, balance, flexibility, and general fitness, helping you stay mobile and independent for longer. It’s especially beneficial for those with limited mobility or living with long-term health conditions.

What to expect from our health coaching sessions?
1-2-1 Health Coaching sessions:
Weekly physical activity sessions for 8 weeks with a qualified coach
Personalised sessions balanced to your ability, interests or recovery goals
A trusting relationship to help you set your health goals and enable change
Support to find local opportunities for ongoing self-care
Please note:1-2-1 sessions are subject to eligibility and will be assessed individually. Only open to residents with a NR32 or NR33 postcode.
Group Exercise Sessions:
Weekly physical activity group sessions for 8 weeks with a qualified coach
Multi-level sessions to enable you to work at your own level
Exercise in a relaxed, friendly environment with full support
Provide an opportunity to socialise
Class Details
Group sessions will be held on Fridays from the 5th September at the Olive Centre, Clapham Road South, Lowestoft, NR32 1QS.
SIT FIT – Fridays 1:30- 2:15pm
45 Minute chair-based exercise session. Ideal for those with limited mobility and those looking to help manage long-term health conditions.

SIT 2 STAND FIT – Fridays 2:30 – 3:15pm
A 45-minute multi-level circuit-based exercise session where exercises can be performed seated, standing, or a combination of both, and adapted to suit individual fitness levels.
