This June, Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin is launching its 75th anniversary fundraising appeal, to raise £75,000 to support our wide range of services and help combat loneliness.

If you have been following us on social media, you may have seen some behind the scenes footage of our filming with VideoHQ and we can't wait to share with you the local stories we have captured in the coming months.

You can now download our fundraising pack if you are interested in organising an event or taking part in the appeal in some way.

If that’s not your cup of tea, we also have some lovely events coming up that you might like to attend or take part in:

The Acorn Singers in Telford have also been busy, with member Roy Driver writing a unique version of ‘Cornwall My Home’, originally sung by legendary song writer Harry Glasson, called ‘Shropshire My Home’. The group are performing at several events this year to fundraise for the Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin and the song will soon be available to listen to on YouTube.

Since 1950, we've been supporting older people in our community, offering a listening ear, a helping hand, and a wide range of services that make a real difference. Whether you’ve been part of our team for decades or just joined us recently, we want you to know how much we appreciate everything you do and thank you so much!
