Come along to our Summer Garden Party

Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin is hosting a Summer Garden Party as part of its 75th anniversary celebrations.
The garden party will take place within the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort and includes a barbeque, lawn games and music. Attendees will be able to access The Gorge Bar, where a wide selection of hot, soft and alcoholic drinks can be purchased. The suggested dress code for the party is traditional summer party wear, such as floral prints, linen clothing and straw hats, and we’re looking forward to everyone entering into the spirit of what promises to be a fun filled event.
The party takes place at Telford Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort from 2.30-6.00pm on Saturday 23 August. Tickets cost £20 (+ Eventbrite fee) per person and are available through Eventbrite, by calling Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin on 01743 233 123, or emailing enquiries@ageukstw.org.uk
Age UK Shropshire Telford & Wrekin’s 75th anniversary fundraising appeal aims to raise £75,000 to help combat loneliness amongst older people. Approximately 10,000 older people across Shropshire would describe themselves as ‘deeply lonely’. We aim to tackle this social isolation through our befriending services, matching an older person with one of our volunteers who then telephones or visits them on a regular basis to provide companionship.
